Ledcor Maui Raised over $100K

For Second Year in a Row

The second annual Makana no nā Keiki – gifts for children raised over $100,000 for three local charitable organizations, Boys & Girls Club Maui, Friends of the Children’s Justice Center and Maui Youth & Family Services. These organizations play a vital role in providing resources, mentorship and support to Maui’s keiki.

In partnership with Āina Momona, Ledcor employees, partners and community members raised over $100,000 dollars for two years in a row! The funds included a $40,000 match from Ledcor and many generous donations from business partners, homeowners and the greater community.

Funds raised will be used for a Holiday Shopping Day on December 5, 2024 for the children of Maui and wellness programs such as field trips, essential care items and outings that let kids be kids.

“We are very proud to be able to not only match last year’s fundraising goal but exceeded it in support of the most important members of our community – the children,” said Ledcor Maui’s Eric Gerlach. “After the keiki went shopping last year, the joy on their faces together with the feedback from non-profit leaders, we knew this was a experience was a big hit for the keiki A big mahalo to everyone who donated in support of the children, and we are all looking forward to the event on December 5th.”
