Ledcor Maui and Industry Partners Raise $100K
As we head into the Holiday Season, all of us at Ledcor Maui are grateful for the generous spirit of our community.
We are pleased to report that Ledcor’s Makana no nā Keiki (Gifts for Children) first annual drive raised $100,000 for Maui youth: $40,000+ from our employees and industry partner donors, $30,000 matching funds from Ledcor Corporation, and $30,000 from a generous donor – Wow!
Within the next few weeks, we will work with our three local beneficiaries: Boys & Girls Clubs of Maui, Friends of the Children’s Justice Center of Maui, and Maui Youth & Family Services to organize necessities and gifts we can provide to the youth in their programs.
“We are happy to have held our first Ledcor Cares donation drive in Maui, especially what has been a difficult year for the community. Mahalo to our industry partners for your generous support. We could not have done this without you,” said Eric Gerlach, Senior VP, Ledcor Maui.
Boys & Girls Club of Maui – Boys & Girls Clubs of Maui serve over 2,200 members and an additional 7,000 youth each year through outreach. More than just an after-school hangout, the clubs provide a safe place for kids to come and do their homework, learn and have fun! With a mission ‘to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential to become productive, responsible, and caring citizens,” the Boys & Girls Clubs across Maui support thousands of youth and their families.Donate to Boys & Girls Club of Maui
