A blessing and groundbreaking ceremony was held on April 8, 2021 under the the guidance of a Hawaiian kahu. The project team, including representatives from the ownership group, civil contractors, sales team, and key stakeholders were witness to the blessing and the asking of their commitment to this project and the land it rests on. The offering of oli (chant) and pule (prayer) called upon all those present and the powers that be to guide and protect this land and those who will work within it.

Kahu reminds us as that as Pua (meaning ‘flowers’ and ‘those living’) we carry the seeds of tomorrow with the responsibility of doing good for the coasts and mountains today, and protecting it for future generations’
