Ledcor Maui is
Honored to Sponsor Ho'omau 2026
On March 28, ‘ohana, musicians, kumu hula, local businesses, and generations of Hawaiian language advocates will gather for one of the island’s most meaningful annual celebrations: Ho‘omau. More than a festival, Ho‘omau is a tradition—one that uplifts ʻōlelo Hawai‘i, honors ancestral knowledge, and brings the Maui community together in a celebration of Hawaiian history, culture, traditional practices and the perpetuation of ʻōlelo Hawai‘i.
Hosted by Nā Leo Pūlama o Maui, Ho‘omau supports the Hawaiian language immersion preschool Pūnana Leo o Maui. The heart of Ho‘omau lies in its mission: sustaining and perputating ʻōlelo Hawai‘i, starting with keiki. Since the founding of ʻAha Pūnana Leo in 1984, the organization has been instrumental in the revival of ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi. From teaching ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi when it was illegal to do so, to helping to bring the language back from the brink of extinction, Pūnana Leo o Maui has demonstrated the spirit of ho‘omau: to persevere, continue, persist, or perpetuate.
Ledcor Maui is honored to support for Ho‘omau as a Kiwikiu sponsor. For three years in a row, Ledcor Maui has supported this event and Pūnana Leo o Maui as a continuation of their commitment to organizations that are rooted in and committed to uplifting Native Hawaiian culture.
In the event’s 39th year, it is estimated that thousands of people will attendee Ho‘omau to enjoy live music, hula, cultural demonstrations, ono food, talented local artisans and vendors – all in celebration of ʻōlelo Hawai‘i. The event will be held at Maui Nui Botanical Gardens and tickets are available in advance through ʻohana of Pūnana Leo o Maui or at the door.
