In a show of deep community commitment for the perpetuation of ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi, Ledcor Maui and local business partners raised over $45,000 for Pūnana Leo o Maui.

Pūnana Leo o Maui stands at the heart of Hawaii’s language revitalization movement, providing an immersive pre-school environment where keiki learn ʻike Hawaiʻi in ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi. The preschool represents more than education—it is a pathway to reconnect with identity, culture, and ancestral knowledge – for keiki and their ‘ohana.

Thanks to the generosity of Ledcor Group who offered a $30,000 donation including matching funds, local businesses joined in to support and donate to Pūnana Leo o Maui. The fundraiser stands as a powerful testament to what can be accomplished when a community comes together with purpose. It reflects not just financial support, but a collective commitment to honoring and uplifting ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi and Hawaiian culture.
