Native Garden Corner

in Wailea Flourishes

The garden that was planted at the corner of Wailea Alanui Drive and Okolani Drive is growing in well since it’s establishment in 2024. The garden features native and canoe plants including species that are well suited to dryland and coastal areas.

Verdant shades of greens can be seen from grasses such as Carex and Pili to ground covers such as Pāʻu o ‘Hiaka and ʻIlama Papa.

Flowers in different shades can be enjoyed with the pops of yellow on ʻIlama Papa, purple flowers of Pohinahina and white flowers of Ulei.

We hope this space is enjoyed by many for years to come!
