Kuleana Training with
Uncle Clifford
On February 19, Clifford Nae’ole led the Ledcor Maui team through a kuleana training titled ‘Ka Waʻa ʻEkahiʻ or ʻThe First Canoe.’ The training reviewed one’s kuleana to not just themselves, but to the collective group. How can each person’s experience and expertise contribute to the goal or mission of the team? How does this mission contribute to the greater community?
In working together there is great strength when one listens, learns from their mistakes, looks after the well being of others and practices good stewardship of the aina.
Similar to the early voyagers, the diverse skillsets of the team and being unified in direction are essential for the success of the journey.
